Subject: Inflammation feeling
Hi all, Just recently when i get discomfort and inflamed feelings in my joints,I have noticed my face goes red hot as well,on and off, Does anyone suffer from that to? Or is it just me being daft?
Is it normal with RA?

Its a stragne feeling Angela, ne cos I know when im having a flare up, i do feel different inside... I dont think I go red, will look out for that, but im sure Id know that, but I feel this sensation, like tingling, running thru each joint... its Orrrible

Hugs back cause I know you like them lol,
I dont know if I have flare ups or not to be honest, I know when I feel poo, and just want to sleep and sleep.
I am so new to this, and if anyone saw me they would think I am the picture of health like yourself, (well until I start hobbling about then I look 70 lol)
Some days I think "i am healed" i feel like i could run a marathon, i couldnt but i feel like i could. It is so strange this condition.

Yes thats how I feel too Angela...like u I look goood, but inside I feel im dying... when I have severe flare ups, ive been hospitalised, becos my BP goes so low...I actually feel like im losing my life....its terrrible, that scares me the most...

hi hot flushes tend to start on chest and work up in me. not noticed if face goes red when having a flare up to buisy trying to cope will look though

Hey girls I hope you dont think i spend all day looking at my face cause believe me i only look when i have to these days lol.
It was just this evening i felt it coming again , I thought i was going to faint as well it quite scared me.
I guess its nothing as usual i just over react, daft mare i am lol.

Hi Angela.
I get the same thing you describe quite often too. It's like my face suddenly gets a hot rush feeling through it and my face is really red and blushed looking. When it's happening i feel really weak and dizzy for the whole time that the hot red feeling in my face is there. I have to sit down, if i'm stood, coz i feel like i'm about to faint. But then after about 5 mins or so it just goes away. Sometimes my left arm gets a dull ache too, but not always. I was wondering if it was a caused by a sudden drop or rise in blood pressure? I don't think it helps that i am a smoker i guess. Maybe my flushing and light headedness is caused by the chemicals in my bloodstream from the cigs, which then make oxygen levels low and polluted, ie, carbon monoxide. I really need to kick this habit into touch. Is this red flushing and faint feeling still happening to you?

Hi amber and angela.. What age are you if your over 40 then it very much sounds like the menopause coming on. you get hot flushes sometime with palpitations, people are different how they experience them my friend used to have to sleep on a towel and change her nightie at least once during the night. I on the other hand have very mild symtoms. basically a flush from my shoulders up to my face.. does this sound familiar. xxx

I sweat from heairline doon to my toootsies!! soaked at night... friggging nightmare.... glad its not just me then LOLOL..../ been told its Not the menopause yet...blimey what a life lol! I think its my Zomorph that does it, cos it started two years ago when I changed to them.... my m8 is on the same and happens to her too..... but my legs get wet too.... its Owwible!!
