Hi John, I have been on them both for years now. Sulphasalasine was the first one I started on and I think after a few week of taking 4 a day there was a bit improvement, it was only when hydroxychloooquine was added that i noticed a difference. That was around 20 years ago and I now get rituximab (biologic drug) Hopefully you should feel a benefit soon and if not speak to the rheumatologist again. Good luck
