Subject: New To RA

Hi there.

I am 24 and have just been told I have RA in my hands.

I was wondering what tips you may have for coping and easing the pain? I have read a million things from different people, but wanted to know what people who have actually experienced it would reccommend?

Thank you in advance.

Hello. I'm wanting to know the same thing and I've been living with RA for 17 years! I'm 23. I do find that warmth and heat help me. A doctor told me that heat helps blood move to an area better and gets blood flowing and when I had a very bad knee a few months ago, I used a heat pack that you put in the microwave and found that it did take the pain away slightly.
Other than that I'm not really sure and would appreciate anything too!
