Personally I haven't tried it. I have heard it works well.
To be honest I tried many things that are out there.
I find hot water bottles work well for me. I use heat pads on my shoulders and my back.
To be honest Dawn it is all trial and error for us. I would say if you are happy to give it a go why not.

Take care wish you well. I hope you get some relief.

I am taking tumeric since a friend recommended it
she has found it a big help, unfortunately it hasn't done anything for me that I have noticed. Always worth a try though, I try most things provided they don't upset my stomach. {'ll go and introduce myself.

Hi Janet, you haven't said what your Dr has given you Co-Codamol for.
There are better pain killing medication out there.
Turmeric didn't help me but never say never some swear by it.
If you tell us a bit more about your self pain wise maybe we could help a bit more.
Take care

I asked my consultant about turmeric. I have RA. He said it helps some, others not. Took it for three months but with no results.

I was also given co-codamol, Lois could you please tell me what the better pain meds you refer to are. I have been drinking orange juice because I love it but I think it is making my arthritis worse I have been in agony. I suppose I have to assume it is the orange juice. :(
