Yeh wayno I drink people who dont drink have nothing to look forward to. At least if you have a drink you can look forward to getting rid of the hangover. Assuming you mean alcohol (In moderation of course). Before you mention it I have done the years of water (Natural, spring. council pop). Did not make one Iota of difference live the life that you enjoy like Michael did god rest his soul but what a life.

THIS IS IT was to be his last show title and believe me its not a practise run you have only one life live it.

michael jacksons life was a trap!?
he was so desperatly unhappy in that life and died early as a result? great!
i dont drink blogger, i used to drink huge amouts of lager and was at the bar most nights and all weekend racking up my approx 100 pints a week that i used to drink.
i used to get loads of growths, tears, lumps and all sorts of strange things happening to my tendons while doing this.
does anyone else suffer from this?
have you ever run your fingers down the back of your leg along the tendons and thought of my god what are all these things ?why are my tendons in such bad shape?
the tendons in the back of the leg are a good example because they are so easy to examine but if you have these problems on these tendons then surely the rest of your tendons are the same?
since stopping drinking my tendons have returned to normal and have saved me so much pain , as a result i can walk more freely the back of my knees dont pop out in agony anymore and i can excercise much better in order to start the slow rebuilding process.
THIS IS IT BLOGGER!
its a trade off! give up the things you rely on in order to get a better quality of life?
pain free or pissed up? it was a big deal for me but ive done it and will never touch another drop as long as i live.
oh and you shouldnt drink tap water ever.
if you want a better life you will have to change it im afraid .

this moderation that you talk about is a modern day excuse for doing as we like.
"oh i can do this because i dint do that"
well not really , this attitude got you where you are today.......not really where you wanted to be is it?
its great that you able to do 80 miles !!! i could not even dream of that at the moment but i will do 80 miles and more one day as i used to love cycling and would do 100s of miles a week when i was younger.

i cant do things for prolonged periods of time,
i can however force myself to exercise and take a break or change my position. i cannot stay in one position for any length of time.
i have suffered huge muscle atrophy and lost about 4 stones of muscle and a stone in fat.
i was 18 odd stone of lean unstoppable now im 13 and a half but some of that is due to not being able to train after 10 years of being in the gym.
i can bench press about 15 kilos if my wrists will let me or if i strap them heavily thats down from around 160 odd kilos at my best.

sorry to hear about your boys jill.
i have no idea how to make them eat better im afraid, its just not trendy, quick or tasty? apparently!
the only thing i can say is that where you say you buy lots of fruit and veg ......well i only buy fruit and veg and only eat it at dinner times, other than scoffing fruit and nuts all day.
when i go into a supermarket i feel like a leper.lol
up the fruit isle across the top for the meat and down the other side for water and that really is it . i dont even go down 80 % of the isles.
saves me a fortune.
i will not have processed food in the house!
no crisps cake bread tins plastic bags nothing.lol
try it you might get to like it.

good point there val.
can i just say that i noticed you mentioned low fat food.
low fat food is always packed with salt and sugar.
low sugar food is always packed with fat.
they have to be like this to stick together and it is almost always this way .
go and read the labels.
but these things are best avoided as they are processed foods.
why cant we just eat normal food the way its meant to be?
why will it be better if its been inside a machiche, pummelled, heated ,dried out added to ,pummelled again and mixed with all sorts of chemicals ,emulsifiers, colours, sweetners,
then dumped in a plastic box to suck even more chemicals up?
what is wrong with natural whole food?
you ever left a pizza or a burger out after a night on the piss?
rats mice and bugs wont eat it!
they dont go mouldy either!!!
because theres nothing in there for the bacteria to eat!!!! lol
if its not there at the microscopic level how are we going to be sufficiently nourished on this rubbish?
sorry for the rant as its not a pop at you xx

yes blogger i do indeed incorperate aerobic excersice in the form of swimming as mentioned and tai chi but my balance is not good so im working on building my core back up with the help of the swiss ball first.
i cannot run or cycle at the moment and can only walk relatively short distances, i do walk most days and love it but i get bad pain in my arms back feet kneees hips.
weights build muscle and bone density so its a progression for me.
you are obviously far more advanced in your recovery or are not as badly afflicted as me?
i also have a rowing machine but its not very good so maybe ill think about getting a new one?

Wayne has your Rhumatologist ever suggested u need more help with toxic meds? U may be far better off, seems u r quite bad as u describe above... yes your foood intake is amazing, but surely u wld be a lot better on the correct meds, to stop the pain, give u more mobility, and stop the erosion that we get without the Meds ?

i have had the toxic meds such as mtx and enbrel as ive mentioned before and would never go back there.
with the very greatest of respect i think that your statement that "I dont personally think Wayne that my meds make me ill...or sicker, quite the opposite infact"
is wrong ,the drugs do nothing to cure you.
they simply mask the symptoms until they appear more or less severe ,when this happens the drug dosage is upped or lowered until there is another problem.
its abit like sticking a plaster over a festering wound and hoping itll get better because you cant see it.
the only thing that is sure with these drugs is that your symptoms may get easier to handle to the point of feeling well again but you will only be hiding the underlying problems.
i dont have to remind you that these drugs are very dangerous and have life threatening side effects.
i took the view very early in my treatment that they werent for me and on reseaching the drugs im convinced that because of my age it was better to go it alone.
it wasnt a popular choice with my doctor but hes happier now even though he thinks im a fu*king lunatic.
toxic drugs put more stress on a already very stressed system and that cant be good,i personally believe that removing every stress possible, eating right ,exercising and being where you want to be and being blissfully happy are the keys to recovery.
michael jackson seems to be a good advert for not taking toxic drugs unfortunatly.
they are a huge trap that is very difficult to escape from, the emotional reliance driven by fear that we place on these things is truly captivating.

Yea I guess your right... being honest here, id rather NOT have them, and your right im scared to not have them for fear of getting so sick again, mind u, id rather take that chance, and mask my problems, that way they arnt surfacing and taking over my life...but I do respect what u say... its taking that huge step to come off them totally, but i have in the past had to stop the meds b4 ops and two weeks after the ops...and ive felt like shite... and flare ups begin etc...that scares me... I do beleive tho Wayne there is a place for Meds toxic or not, to help us, i do beleive our specialists allow us these meds becos they beleive they help... how wld they sleep at night knowing they r delib killing us, or making us sicker internally, I cldnt do that to a human being, also altho id rahter not have these meds due to the toxicity, I dont think they wld study for years and years just to help delib kill us all off.... I nearly died in 2002, was in for 6 weeks, ended up with C. Difficile, the meds they gave me there saved my life!... as I feel the meds im on now also do.... Im hoping tho that I wont need these meds forever, my bloods r good each mon ths and the rest of the bloods they take for testing also r very good... so I personally bank on the blood results... anyway, sorry to ramble on, I do understand more now over the last day or two your passion for this way of life u r offering us all to read about... I do get it.... but im also personally scared to Not listen to my gorjus specialist...

Glad you are coming on board I noticed I had a problem in my thirtys and really pumped my fitness regime.

However that only keeps this disease at bay as do the toxic meds and eventually as you age it catches up so much that I feel that I am only keeping it at rest now 25 years on. My friend (same age) is in heaven now who disagreed with the fitness theme. As you say Michael (not in bad taste) has paid the price of not living a natural life ( Only my opinion) But remember Neanderthal man only lived until 30 so thats good for michael and ourselves hiding behind a bush (so to speak)

Once again life is for living however you do it

THIS IS IT!

Now I know I have the real thing

Cos they are so stressed with their mortgages and lifestyles that they are scared of must cure now instant results tables. However I am not insulting their intelligence they do provide a 'fix it' temporarily until you sort your own life out.

I prefer the (middle age +)consultant who has life experience as well as SUPERIOR clinical knowledge and is personally interested 'professionally' and no money worries.

What is the % of doctors who are alcohol free or other substance any figures? They are human!

I'll be honest and do agree with a lot you have said wayno but also like Jill and many others on here i take these toxic meds and was absolutely terrified to start them but i have only been diagnosed for the last eight weeks although i have suffered with back pain since the age of 16 as i have a form of spina bifida in my spine but when i got this in my hands i just wanted something to take away the pain i didn't sleep for 2 weeks and i am still in constant pain everyday and its still not sorted. I do not believe that eft could take away my back pain as it was something i have been born with but i do believe it can help with things maybe like my panic attacks phobias etc. Also just one other thing i do think that anyone new coming on here reading about what u have wrote about the meds would be absolutely terrified as it has made me feel a bit uneasy again after reading your post. When u say the drugs do nothing to cure u i think we all know that because there is no cure for RA and can i just ask have u studied medicine then as u seem to know a lot about the medication?. i personally just want to feel like my old self again ok i have never been able to walk far because of my back but some days with the ra i can hardly walk at all , i want to be able to draw and paint again as i am an artist but i can't even hold a pen so if these meds slow down the process of the desease then i have to take them and all the pain killers as i couldn't cope with the pain and not take anything.

but i gotta say i stand by it because they are dangerouse things.
i hope people will take it into account as well as all the doctors advice that they are going to recieve.
we need to give ourselves all the chances we can and i dont believe overloading my system with toxins would benefit me.
i would be worried sick but it could also work as a comfort to someone else and there in lies the danger.
maybe it could help as a bridge to a better future treatment but i wouldnt personally take the gamble.
eft is a no brainer as it cant hurt to try and its free and self administered.
you might come to terms with all sorts of hiddden dramas you didnt think you had and you can say what you like to yourself behind your closed door and not even a shrink need be there, lol
