Subject: hip operation
I am due a hip operation in July and I m terrified.I have been trawling through the forum looking for positive stories. I have opted for an epidural rather than gen.anaesthetic but am scared if it will be painful at all during op or recovery. I would welcome any comforting advice!I am 46,so hope to continue to enjoy life for a few more years.

Honest she is so happy back at work within 5 weeks..she had general antasthetic tho... please dont feel terrified...u will be very happy after, but u need to speak to your surgeon mb about the Less invasive type of operation...let us know how u get on please take care Jill x
