I have very painful arthritis/gout pain in both my large toe joints, also both knees. It prevents me from taking the dog for a walk and also just general walking or climbing up the stairs. I am currently taking Naproxen but this does not help much. I am 63. I have just been reading about capsaicin, not sure if anyone has tried this or has any comments that may help the pain.

Hi
I was given capsaicin cream for my shoulder and neck. You have to apply it for days before it takes any effect, it builds up. Always wear gloves before applying, keeps hands away from eyes. It burns. It also makes me sneeze.
