Subject: bone fragments

Hi. I have osteoarthritis of the knee. My recent MRI scan showed foreign bodies floating around and recently I can feel sharp splinters that feels like it's coming through my knee skin. Anyone else had this experience? Can the knee fragments make their way through skin?
