Subject: frustration

hi it is such a pain when u start to loose strenth in hands had to have electric screw driver 4 xmas as found could not manage normal screw drivers also my taps drip a bit if not turned enough many a time i go back in bathroom to find it dripping as have not turned it properly only little niggles but make me feel 88 not 48 feet aching today (know should b glad not pain) but getting on my nerves.just needed to moan dont say leave things to others would drive me mad and then would have to wait till they got around to it :-)

(((Hugs for u Val)))...You r like me, I like to do my own housework,becos altho I have a large family 5 kids and my better half, the jobs arnt done properly, mind u, Over the years I have had to do less, and not be so fussy, cant do the thorough job I use to do... there re devices to help u with taps etc...that might be of help to u...btw do u have one of the Microwavable thingymajigs(cant remember name) u can warm them up in Microwave, fantastic for sore feet and necks etc...I cldnt be without mine...worth a try...

Hi Val YES! its hard when you lose the strength in yr hands. I changed all the taps in our house (well obviously not actually me, a man-what-does did them!) to the ceramic lever ones as I haven't been able to turn off the other sort for a long time and the drips drove me mad too. Or worse, I couldn't get the tap to turn on...

hi thanks 4 replies just dropped yet another glass we get through lotts of glasses and plates as i either drop them or knock them off counter tut tut

Hi Val sorry your feeling a bit down yes it is so frustrating its the little things like not being able to open a door handle and hold my knife so having to eat with my left hand and having the food cut up then looking down and seeing ive dropped it all down me lol not funny at the time and filling up the kettle one handed as i can't turn the tap on its not easy. take care (((big hugs ))) on their way x

i have been feelin like this 4 a few weeks now but this week has been the worse cant turn taps and i noticed i been droppin lots of plates ect this is really gettin me down could do with some advice how to stop this pain

hi kaz what pain tabs u on am on naproxin and co-proxamil they have helped still have days where knock things over and have days where hands weak but much better since tabs kicked in warm water helps with pain also wheat bags good luck hope things better soon

Hi Kaz what meds are you on, and are you under a rheumy. what type of arthritis have you got? gosh sounds like question time lolololol. Need to know these things so peeps in here have a clear idea how to give you advice. Hope to hear from you soon. take care
