Bone density is improved with impact exercise - but I understand that if the pain is too great then not possible. A few times I have run through inflamed hip and lower back pain. I have also had foot pain - and although a long shot it is worth sharing that my foot pain - plantar fascitis disappeared with diet changes. So may want to look at causes of inflammation, diet, mineral deficiency (especially manganese and zinc) and then see if that can help you exercise. See a Functional Medicine specialist to look at potential causes instead of one that will mask the symptoms.
