Subject: Relentless pain

Hello, does anyone have copping strategies when it comes too other family members! I have a stepson living in a caravan with his girlfriend, dog and cat. We sorted a caravan at the end of our garden, so they could have a break and save for the future! Wot a big mistake, they take take and take some more. Since they have lived here, they seem too think it's just like living at home, they constantly use our home, like Tesco's, local laundry services, cash machine, and now they are taking my wood supply I have collected over the last year. I have real difficulties in saying no, as I'm the wicked stepmother, so they take advantage. I have asked my husband too have words, but he doesn't seem too be affected like me. Oh wot too do, its times like this, I'm glad I don't have children of my own 😬😬

Hi Chrissy, Families can often take too much for granted but taking your wood supply is going too far. Is there a chimney in the caravan? I can't see why they would need your wood supply unless there is, unless they are selling it! I bet they allow the dog and cat to dig up your garden too.

You have to be firm with them Chrissy and tell them it's time to move on. If you did invite them though as a means of saving money then they probably feel justified in what they are doing.

We are conducting a market research study on behalf of our client, a pharmaceutical company, and are looking to invite people who have been diagnosed by a physician as having Rheumatoid Arthritis and who would be willing to participate in a market research study about living with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The purpose is to understand your experience with rheumatoid arthritis. The research will be used to guide the development of a potential future treatment for RA.

Hi Chrissy

I think the "Astounded" poster was unfair in not realizing that you needed support rather than criticism.

I would have thought that the title of "relentless pain" would have been enough of a clue to illicit some empathy rather than the post you got.

There is some good advice on here - but have also been occasionally some sarcasm too.

Hope others can advise you better.
