Hi Kim
So sorry you are suffering in your feet, hun. I can so relate to how you are feeling as feet and hands are my biggest problem.
Unfortunately you will have to hang in there a bit longer for Plaquenil to work. Some people are lucky and notice an improvement within 3 or 4 weeks but for me it took 6 months to work. We all react differently.
In the meantime it might be a good idea to go back to the doc. Perhaps they might be able to give you a steroid injection or something else to relieve the pain until Plaquenil kicks in.
Hugs
Elaine

I had terrible pain in my feet, I found that although I was taking my medication the pain would not go away, then I asked to see a podiatrist who then referred me to the bio-mechanicl dept (sounds scary but it was'nt) they examined my feet in detail and concluded yes inflamation was causing some of the pain, but also that the arthrits had damaged my bones in the feet causing more pain. They fitted me with a pair of insole and they helped greatly.

Kim u MUST get a letter from your GP expalining the Pain u r suffering, this isnt fair, the Boss may not understand, unless u give him a diagnosis, Have u had a Diagnosis? people can get Synovitis in the feet, due to Inflamation, takes a long time to recover from... let us know how u got on with the Boss
