Hi, I tried every natural remedy including tumeric and no joy, until i tried Boron along with magnesium and vitamin D and OMG I'm a different person....5 yrs of misery and the thought of only getting worse as i got older (I'm female and 57) it's been miraculous the transformation...I would urge all sufferers of osteoarthritis to read up on the need for boron/magnesium/vitamin D/calcium for healthy bones....and the way they interact with each other to keep bones strong.....I can't believe their isn't more info out there on this for people... as the right balance of these is ESSENTIAL for your bones to stay strong....6mths ago i could hardly get in or out of the car....was in terrible pain all day....today with these supplements plus concentrated pomegranate juice (natural anti-inflamatory) I'm like a new person, I've got my life back...plus lost 2 stone as more mobile....wish others knew about it as this condition causes so such misery and destroys lives

That's SO interesting carol.can I ask how long it has taken to start working? I am really interested in a natural approach to my RA, and have recently started with a London clinic to see if I can find an alternative way of dealing with my pain x

Hi Catherine, I hope you can find something for the pain but i just wanted to point out that OA and RA are quite different and what works for OA may be of no use to a sufferer of RA unless you have a mild case of it. I do believe though that most people with RA are short of vitamin D and calcium. You can get your doctor to check your levels. Diet can also help and avoiding some foods that seem to make inflammation worse. x

I have mild arthritis in my hip but a lot of pain. I have been taking turmeric curcumin with bioperine that I purchased from Amazon. It is supposed to relieve joint discomfort, but I haven't really noticed it helping. There are 60 capsules in the bottle and I've been taking one with breakfast and one with dinner. I probably should double the dose just to see if that helps. I was on Meloxicam but the prescription ran out so I'm trying Naproxen in AM and Advil in PM. Pain seems to be coming back.

I take turmeric every day. Make sure you take it with black pepper and/or oil. The potency has been shown in research on rats to be 200 times (or was it 2000x?) more powerful with BP. Others argue that the bio-availability increases dramatically if mixed with oil.
