Subject: Tendonitis; is it connected to osteoarthritis ?

I have had bad pains in my feet for a couple of months now. My left foot is painful and swollen today (first time it has really swollen up)
My Podiatry nurse thinks it's tendonitis. Has anyone else had this problem and would it be regarded as a disabilty ?

I've been taking incapsulated a variety of 30 different fruits, vegetables and berries for the past 8 months and my arthritis is hardly an issue anymore. This is because of all the nutrients and berries reduce inflammation. Hope this helps everyone.

Hi Tina, Tendonitis can be caused through bone spurs from your osteoarthritis. It is a painful condition as you are aware. I use a hot water bottle and rest my feet on it when they are sore. You could also try gel insoles.
The trouble with arthritis it causes us so may problems.
I hope this helps I wish you well.

Just one more thing have you had a blood test for RA at all. It could be worth a check.

Take care
