Subject: Re: hyproadrenlism insuffency
Oh lol, that is too much. I'm not surprised you are fed up. I don't know anything about hypoadrenalism. Has it been caused by the RA or your drugs? I don't think you should be scared of taking hydrocortisone as it is just replacing what your body isn't producing, as far as I understand it. Plus, if you have to take the drugs it's better to just accept that as there isn't much you can do about it. I would concentrate on trying to control the things I might be able to, like diet and exercise (not that I'm entirely successful in that area but I try to do exercise of some sort every day, even chair based ones are good if you are immobile.) The other thing that really helps me is practising Mindfulness. My GP sent me on a course and I've done a couple more off my own back. It's made a massive difference to my stress levels and it is shown to help reduce blood pressure, mine came down considerably. It can take a while to get the hang of and you need to do it every day but it is one thing you can have complete control of. Your GP can refer you but the great thing about mindfulness is you don't need anything and you can do it anytime. I can't recommend it enough.
