Hi Geek, sorry to hear about your Dad. Your Dad may be better off with power tools. They do many light weight electric (battery) screw drivers you can also purchase soft handle tools. It may be an expense changing over but at least your Dad could continue using tools. Has your Dad ever tried hand splints/gloves? It really is a bug bare for us when limitations occur. Has your Dad had his hands checked by his Gp or a Consultant? I hope this helps. Maybe some of the Male posters may have some better ideas. Take care
