Subject: exercises and arthritus
This is my second message so firstly thank you all for your support and your answering my first question. I am feelin much better. not so tired and the pain is better. I still have a hot stiff mild discomfort in my fingers, toes, knees and shoulder joints one of my elbows has a painful spot if i lean on it and my ankles are very very stiff in the morning for about an hour i walk like a very old women. i have put on loads of weight partly because i have comfort eaten but mostly because i have been afraid to do any sort of keep fit. I suppose the extra weight makes things worse. so can any of you tell me what kind of exercises i can do (swimming is out it really affects my neck) I am off now to watch the andrew marr show and wade through yesterdays papers BLISS my sunday treat. I love it. see i am feelin much better thank you all

Hi Kiora swiming does the same to my neck, I have cervical spondylosis, so agony on my neck, unless I swim Under water LOL impossibility...Weight wise, think lots of us feel the same about that too....I cant suggest any exercise, becos I cant presently do any, even walking grinds on my knees, hips and then back starts hurting... Im in a flare up at the mo, but hopefully after my Nice steroid jab in my backside on thurs will help a lot take care
