Subject: Thoracic pain

I live in USA, have thoracic pain after working in my yard. It lasts for a few days which means sitting around until the pain subsides.

The problem (or on of them) is age I'm 82 and have been a bit sedentary lately. I have (had) tons of them to clear off the lawn.

I can only use the backpack leaf blower for a short period of time, less than three hours before my thigh muscles start to give out. Using the leaf blower (push type) isn't any better.

My GP doesn't want me to do yard work, yeah, good luck with that one I can't afford people to come in to work in my yard not on a fixed income.

After I stop working I develop sever, sharp pains all up and down my thoracic spinal area.

My family doctor gave me a prescription for 800mg of Ibuprofen (for another pain situation) so tried that (which hasn't worked).

Today I just took a couple of acetaminophens to see if that helps. Tomorrow (Monday) I'm going to the doctor to see in there is something that will help. I know from past experience that oxycodone works.

Something has to work or I won't be able to work around the yard.

Any Ideas, any help is welcome.

Thanks a bunch,
