Subject: Knee pain
I have arthritis is my fingers and lower back but recently I have been getting a real bad pain in my knee however it only appears when I get in bed. My leg feels like a lump of lead and it feels like the bed is pulling my leg into the bed I cant lift it without feeling excruciating pain in my knee area. I dont understand why this only happens when I go to bed. Can anyone help me with this I would be most grateful Thank you Jacky

Not sure either, Jacky. Have you been to the doctor about it? perhaps you should ask for an xray or a scan. Hope someone else can come on and help. x

Hi Jacky, both my knees give me probs getting in and out of bed main culprit being stiff tendons, I mean I have arthritis in both knees but the lack of flexibility tends to cause all uncomfortable aching and pain all round the joints, really difficult to stretch the tendons without aggravating the actual arthritic problem more

My arthritis is in my knees, but I do 2 things to alleviate it (the best I can) 1, I sleep with a small cushion between my knees, to stop them resting each other. 2, I use an Aromatherapy massage oil, which I keep in the bathroom, either before bed, or mostly when I get up in a morning.
