Subject: Struggling to get diagnosis

Hi all I'm a newbie. I've had joint pain and inflammation for around four years now and despite trying hard cannot seem to get a diagnosis for which I believe to be RA.
Blood tests are relatively normal but I'm on morphine patches and cocodamol but am left with swelling and stiffness in hand and feet.
How long does it take and what do they look for in a diagnosis?

Hi, have you tried Aloe vera, I suffered with arthritis and back problems from all the heavy lifting over the years, but now taking Aloe vera products and I have hardly any pain or joint problems, it has even cleared up my IBS, the stuff is amazing.

Hi Samantha it is a long road to get the diagnoses. Have you seen a Consultant? They can do other tests i.e. Ultra sound is good for the hands. I was told probably not RA until the scans results on my hands came back. Your bloods alone don't mean much.
Go back to your GP and ask about scans. Good luck.
Chin up and take care x
