Subject: CheerfulSoles.....What makes your feet happy?
Hello everyone, please excuse me for butting into your forum. Rest assured that I have sought permission to post this topic, thank you Trina for allowing me to do so. I am a young (ish) mum of two who, along with a friend, has started an online company whose mission is to provide stylish and comfortable footwear that people with 'Problem Feet' want to wear, not have to wear. So why am I bugging you? I am not asking you to buy from my site (though that would be lovely). What I am asking for are any comments you would like to share focusing on the problems you have in trying to find shoes that meet your needs. In particular it would be good to know: - What problems do you encounter when looking for shoes - Can you tell just from looking whether a shoe is a 'No Go' for your feet - What information, measurements etc would be useful when deciding what shoes to buy Let me stress, I am not trying to convince you to buy! I am genuinely interested in any feedback on the website and your personal experiences as these will help me to make sure that we have the kind of shoes that people want and need. Should you wish to look, the address of my website is below. Please feel free to learn more about CheerfulSoles and browse the shoes that we currently offer. Thank you for taking the time to read this posting. I look forward to seeing any comments you care to share. http://cheerfulsoles.co.uk/ Jo Gill CheerfulSoles

Subject: Re: CheerfulSoles.....What makes your feet happy?
Hi jo Gill Ok I have Arthritis everywhere, neck down to my Toes, I also have size 9 feet, I dont have a problem at all in buying Boots, sandals, or trainers, as long as they dont have a Heel of more than inch maybe 2 inches then I can find anything I want, I did look on your website and at one point I was lucky to find the Price of your Shoes, however, when I looked for the price a 2nd time, was hard to find the price of your shoes, boots etc, I did see a price for some of your sandles and I couldnt Not beleive the Price, £70.00 for sandles? Im unable to work, so I wouldnt buy shoes priced that high, not for a pair of regular shoes anyway, I can buy comfortable shoes for as little as £15, £20.00.... As long as a person(and we all know our own feet better than any one else) buys a comfortable shoe, correct size etc, correct width then we can purchase them in the high street. Thats my opinion, I did take the time to look at your web site(always give people a chance btw) but in all honesty, its better that I try on in the shop what I want, walk about etc, rather than waiting for them to be delivered to my home, cos the chances are They wont fit correctly the first time, Plus many of us wouldnt surely pay £70.00 for a shoe that u sell, that looks like any other shoe ive seen in the local shoe shops, plus we can get advice there and then directly from the sales person. My input,is not to offend, but to tell you that I couldnt find the Price of your Boots that you sell, they must be hundreds(which is unnecessary, as I bouggt gr8 pair for £50 from Next who do big sizes also(sales are gr8) sorry this isnt the reply u would like, but I truly cant see the point in buying from a place that has to send them to me,Just because I have Arthritis, they are costly, and no different from shoes at the local store.
