Subject: Transportation with Simponi
Hi everyone, I'll be travelling to America in November and I'm getting no help from HAH on how to transport my Injection Pen, keeping it at the correct temperature between 2 - 8 degrees until I reach my destination, the other problem I have I'm in a hotel the night before so a travel bag won't last long enough, has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Steve, I googled for you and The National Ankylosing Spondylitis site suggests to look at the following. MEDACTIV site sell products for carrying Simponi abroad. Also they suggest AMAZON sell Frio wallets and Carry Cases for keeping meds cool. I hope this helps and I am sure there will be others that can help. Good Luck.

Hi Steve, If there is a helpline for the simponi that you could call? or the rheumatology department at your hospital might give advice or even that arthritis helpline. My daughter is diabetic and has to carry insulin when she goes abroad and she has always been fine with it. I would think a small cool bag would be sufficient but best check it out. Some hotels have fridges but if not I would think kept somewhere cool should be alright. Enjoy your travels.
