Jo, most of my osteo pain dissapears when I'm resting, guess I'm still lucky in that respect, I have osteo in all major joints, but lower back also have. Spondyylosis, arthritis, and bone spurs, that causes pain but also considerable stiffness, that stiffness has reflected in hip arthritis, problems with knees, and then again with both feet, tried all sorts of orthotics to realign, improve posture, with feet, but back stiffness gets worse, I use soft basic orthotics, reduce walking, a little cycling to take pressure off feet, I don't stand around anywhere too long, especially talking, massage my feet, good quality shoes, I find if one joint is suffering then the joint opposite, or below, will try to compensate, barry

Hi Jo, I have RA and I get sore feet, when I rest them it does help a bit. It's true what they say - if your feet are sore then you are all sore. x
