after many years on napraxon I suddenly developed high blood pressure, the relief doc stopped the Napraxon but says I can't have any anti inflammatory meds, I have turned into a little old lady overnight and tramadol is not helping, anybody else had the problem?

Hi Katherine, I can't take anti inflammatories either. Tramadol doesn't do anything for the inflammation though it can help with pain. What kind of arthritis have you got?

hi Katherine you need to try & get to see a rheumatoligist , they have some good drugs to help with your condition as for Napraxon , talk to your GP , maybe you just need blood presure tablets or he could change it to another Naisds

Hi Katherine, I take tramadol for pain but after months of just taking by itself my consultant told me to take together with paracetamol because the tramadol alone isn't strong enough to stop the pain. I always take now 2 tramadol and 2 paracetamol and it is a lot better. But please ask your medical team first to see if you can take both as some people might not be able to take paracetamol. Take care and keep posting to let us know how you get on.
