I've had swollen glands in my armpit and my GP thought it was RA. Have you seen a doctor?

It can be a sign of infection so worth getting it checked out if you don't feel well or it doesn't go. Mine was quite a small swelling which is still hanging around.

Hi Mary if those glands are still swollen after a couple of days see your GP. They could be infected and you may need an antibiotic. I hope you feel better soon. Rest up and take care. x

I find my arthritis sometimes causes my glands to really come up. Some evenings I can feel really awful, sore glands, sore throat like I'm getting very ill. The next morning after a sleep I feel fine. I personally link it to my arthritis but have never had it confirmed either way. It's all immune system linked so I think it makes sense. Do get yourself checked thou as certain meds can cause immune system probs or infections elc.
