Hi ive had pain in my hips for a long time been on lots of pain killers that havent worked last week went to seemy gpAgain on very stron tramadol paracetamol and naproxen which r helping im going to have ultra sound scan on my fingers and hands later this month to see about rheumatoid arthritis i have been limping in pain without these tablets i was diagnosed with oesteoporosis 2 years ago they think i have fibromyglia but i dont can someone help plz

hi lyn , pain in my hips are normaly caused by lower back problmes & think it goes with your oesteoporosis , its pretty rare to get it with RA & not for someone starting out with RA as for your hands & fingers , taking blood will show up if you have RA in 80% of the time , most people with RA have Rheumatiod Factor which they can test for . x-rays would help as it can be refered to in the future for people with RA as for fibromyalgia , there are test they can do for this but very little treatment at moment apart from pain killers
