Subject: Trapezi tommy
I have osteoarthritis and had a Trapeziectomy on both thumbs a few years ago .My left thumb now hurts again and cannot put any pressure through it when trying to use it . Thumb also tingles like neve tingles .GP has refered me back to Orthapedics bug not the surgeon that did op before .My question is does anyone know if another operation will be on the cards .Thank You

I'm not sure if a steroid injection would help it, Margaret. I would try other options before another operation. Do you use a splint on it? x
