yes, know what you mean. I've got to visit a hospital soon to visit a poorly relative and am not looking forward to being around a zillion germs just as I think my immune system is strengthening. I've got my antibacterial handwash with me but not sure how effective it is against a barrage of new germs. Will use it anyway. Glad to hear you had lovely holiday - maybe you need to move to a sunny clime? Is it possible? Barbara

I am on Humiera and Methotrexate, so live in constant fear of picking up infections! i have paid for my last 3 operations, but if i have to go to my local NHS hospital (and renowend mrsa hotspot) i am very careful. i ask the nurses to put me in a side room, rather than sit in the general waiting room with all the coughers and sniffers! I wear gloves to open and close doors, or put paper over my hands, and have even walked down corridors with my t-shirt covering my mouth, and end of my nose! Sure people look at me like i am insane, but i couldn't care less. What is a mild bug for them, can turn into a very big deal indeed for me! i carry hand wash with me, never take the tube or bus, and tell people not to kiss me or shake my hand if they feel unwell...I am now being called 'Howard Hughes' by my friends! Being so imno suppressed is a flippin' nightmare!
