Thanks Willis. All a bit mad here at the moment so just cant find time to plan trip to Braintree. Plumber fixed leaking water tank Tuesday and then promptly put his foot through the ceiling. So just something else to sort. Story of my life ... oh, and the rheumy consultant apt has been cancelled again. Last time he was sunning himself, what's the betting his topping up his tan. Hey ho.

Are you in a lot of pain?
I hope things start going in the right direction soon.

Morning Willis
Since being on the cimzia think I feel somewhat better in myself but still cant shift the aches and stiffness. Try to keep going, which is in my nature anyway, but as soon as I stop everything seizes up. Lost track on the appts. Think this one was in place of my June apt which got put back to end of this month, then 17 Oct and now cancelled. Did see him briefly at a rheumy nurse apt when he popped in cos she couldn't make up her mind over the inflamed joints but haven't had a proper apt since last Dec when everything was in a real flare. I guess this is as good as it gets !!! GP is a great support but is retiring in November so guess I will have to start seeing one of the new ones and just hope I get the same understanding.
Builder coming in to assess damage on Monday. Just hope we don't have to dismantle all the wardrobe to get the job done. Hey ho again.

Hi Denise, I see my consultant once a year and my last appt was 15 mins wait and 3 mins in room. I'm on Humira which has made a huge difference over the past year but still ache and stiff whenever I get up. My job is 3 days 8 hr shifts mostly on my feet so I can now add sexy support stockings to my list in wardrobe lol hence the need for skecher shoes
I hope you get ceiling mended without much hassle - wardrobe moving.
With your doc retiring you could always ask them which of the docs in the practice will be your new designated gp and get an appt with them soon after he leaves to bring them up to speed on your condition
My consultant was insistent that my gp 'get involved' with my case, she is good and listens and does all she can to help but also, directed me to this forum to talk to other sufferers as they have better idea of what I'm going through! Lol
Have a good day , sending hugs x
