Subject: hotter shoes

Just come back from podiatry and been advised to buy some hotter shoes for better support. Just wondering whether anyone has made an investment in them and their experiences.
Many thanks

my sister in law only uses Hotter shoes, has done for a long time, I think she must buy a dozen pairs a year, don't know why they don't wear out!! She is 90 and walks fine.

You can ask for their catalogue online but I think they are very expensive, nice but expensive. But if they give relief they are worth the money.

Hi some of them are nice and are comfortable but can expensive. I tried hotter shoes for a while but feet seem to only be ok for a few weeks in any shoes then they are sore again.
I was given shoe inserts from pod dept but they made my feet feel more sore !
Friends mum only wears hotter shoes now too and wouldn't go back to any others now.
If you don't mind spending the money it may be worth it for you. Good luck, let us know how you get on x

Thanks Julie, thanks Willis. I thought I was doing okay cos for last few years have only worn M&S footgloves but she said not enough support. Admit don't wear trainers that much during the summer as feet get too hot !!!! Think Hotters have a place at the outlet shopping centre in Braintree. It's not that near but not a million miles away so think I might go and have a look and as it is an outlet centre, might get last year's style at a lesser price to start with. Thanks for input gals. D xx

Hi Denise, the hotter shoe shop in Freeport has some good nice looking shoes. There is a Skechers opening there too. It just has a 'coming soon' sign in the window. I hope it's soon as I love Skechers , I've bought a pair for work and can last 6-8 hrs on my feet without as much pain as any other shoes! Let me know when you coming to Freeport, I could come meet you for a coffee as I live not too far from the braintree district :)
Hope you have a good day x

Hi Willis

So you seem to have more luck with the Skecher shoes and interesting they are coming soon to Freeport. So could you let me know if you find out when they open, cos then I might be able to kill two birds with one stone and make a better choice. Feet now getting so frustrating, well everything really despite being on Cimzia. Feel better in myself on it apart from a couple of blips but not doing much for the pain and don't like taking too many pain killers. Hey ho.
Coffee with a fella sufferer sounds a great idea. Where do you live then? I'm in Hoddesdon, Herts.

I'm just outside braintree :) so Freeport very close to me. I'm on my feet at work 6-8 hrs 3 days a week so shoes important. Feet just sore or agony all the time and fed up of having to pay out for shoes constantly.
I will start a new thread called Skechers when I find out the opening date.
Keep well
Xxx
