hi teresa , sorry your having problems with your ankles , it can be very painful , but there is loads they can do to help our Rheumy department has a foot clinic , with someone to help with ankle brace made to suit your ankle to foot surgeon myself had both my ankle fused in opperation called Triple Arthrodesis & need more surgery at some point on both ankles , I use a Revitive V3 Circulation Booster which I find helps so much with ankle pain & the problems cause by swollen ankles ie: circulation , they about half price they was which is good & realy are just a big TEMS m/c website just shows the opperation I had & may help you understand where your problems are http://www.aofas.org/footcaremd/treatments/Pages/Triple-Arthrodesis.aspx
