Hi all Anyone been on cimzia? After a complete mess up over embrel not being available and then a problem with the home care nurse service, finally started on cimzia on 11 April. At first thought there was some improvement but after a hectic couple of weeks, now feel I am back to square one. And I am sure the rain at the moment isn't helping. Rheumy nurse apt was cancelled cos I was seeing the consultant on 19 June, and now that whole clinic has been cancelled so waiting a further apt. Guess I shall probably run out of meds before that even happens and will be something else to sort. Had xrays on feet, hands and knee, only showing up slight problem with right wrist .... consultant said knee was probably inflammation but again it is throbbing like mad. Physio said not much she can do with my shoulders, probably a combination of the RA and wear and tear. Oh how I hate this word probably. Don't seem to have any obvious side effects on the cimzia but just feel like I am going round and round in circles. Off to see GP tomorrow. Oh, rant over, I know there are a lot of people on this site much worse than me.

Hi Denise, I was on Cimzia for about 8 months, or something like that, and it didn't do a thing for me, apart from give me the most awful chest infection that I had to come off it. My rheumy nurse said quite a lot of her patients had a similar experience. Enbrel was much better for me but I had problems with that too, so had to come off.
