Hi all yesterday I had servere pain in throat when swallowing and yawning I assumed I was coming down with something but today my throat is fine how weird is that . Has anyone else with fibro had this

Hi Laura, can't really help as I don't have fibro. I hope you are feeling better. I am sorry that it appears no one has encountered this problem.

Hello laura. Iv got fibro aswell as arthritis. I get sore throats for a few days then they go. Also trouble with swallowing. There's so many sides to fibro its horrid. I'm going thru a flare up of arthritis and fibro the fatigue is just awful iv slept most the wkend away which isn't good but can't help it. Xx

Hi. i know this thread is a little old now but i do actually get throat problems as you described.
Was initially diagnosed with early ra then at second opinion they said fibro but are still gonna investigate the ra as i have traits of both.
I can have a terribly painful throat with swallowing , yawning etc.
And obviously talking is painful. It can actually make my ear hurt too and normally only effects the right side of my throat.
Its one of the many strange symptoms im getting.
Completely different area altogether but also suffering with what i think is ureathritis on and off too.
No urine infection or associated stomach pain but it gets rather sore and painful to pee.
Thinking maybe everywhere can get inflamed but not sure which problem would cause it.
Going to discuss it at my next appt.
