Just a quick post how are you doing? I spoke to my GP about PA and they said I was tested and it was negative. I have been taking Steroid and antibiotics and feel so much better. So just waiting to see what happens when it is all out of my system and then I am going to be shouting a bit. I am going to see if I can repeat the meds when my pain is to much to put up with. Anyway just wanted to let you know I did ask the question. Take care Colin.

hi marlene , I would asked to be refered to a rheumatoligist about PA , it dont add up & for steriods & antiboitics it implies some form of inflammation as for myself , fell up a stairs monday & got a nice swollen knee for my troubles , the infusion of Tocilizumab went well but still has not started to work yet & may take a couple of months so will stay on high dose steriods until then

Hi Colin thanks for your reply. I am thinking the same as you. Now you have confirmed my thoughts after Easter I will book an appointment with the GP and request a visit to a Rhumy team. Fingers crossed the infusion gets going for you soon it's about time you had a break from all of this it's been a long toll for you. Talking about falls hope that knee is ok. My mum had a fall in the garden and is sporting a black eye and a badly bruised hand. Bless her at 88yrs it is worrying. Colin take care x
