Yes I had to I had my last lot of DLA refused but with my GPs support reapplied for PIP they sent someone out to me the lady was very understanding whilst at the same time efficient, I saw it as constructive as for once someone was seeing me in my environment and understanding how I have to manage, I only got lower rate but that suites me as it helps a lot with travel and transport and buys the aids I need to carry on. So don't worry just be honest with them.
