Subject: lung function test

my rheumatologist sent me for a routine chest xray two weeks ago,I have just received a letter today saying that I have been booked in for a lung function test on 22nd of this month ... should I be concerned at all ..or is this normal procedure these days

They might just be being thorough, which is a good thing. I've had a million test, which have mostly turned out ok. Try not to worry.

I had same, xray first then lung function, I was told it was to make sure that my lungs weren't being affected by RA.

At least they are looking after you which is a good thing.

I wouldn't worry its just something they do.
