Subject: Enbral

Hi
Just wondered if anyone had flu like symptons on Enbral. I had my first injection on Monday and felt ok apart from headaches on the Monday night and Tuesday, which was controlled ok by paracetamol. Was a little tired Monday night. I had a great result when I woke on Tuesday, no stiffness or soreness with my hands. It has been like that all week.
I have had a pretty rough week though. On Monday evening my son cut his finger very badly at work and his wife had to take him to A & E, so had to look after my grandson (15 months) while they were there. Then my other son and wife with their 22 month old came round as well. Tuesday evening I went across to my son (with the 15 monthold baby) to learn babys routine as my daughterinlaw is having a baby by section this coming Thursday. Did not sleep well as slept in same room as baby. So wednesday I took baby out for walk and cleaned their kitchen. Returned home Wednesday evening to find my dog had been sick, and then dog continued to be sick wth bile until 4am! Dog is ok now. So after finally getting to sleep at 5am and waking at 1pm I was totally overcome with exhaustion and cold symptons and this continued all day friday. I felt so exhausted and weak I had to hold onto bannisters and wall rail to be able to get up the stairs. This continued this morning until early afternoon but now I feel fine apart from a sniffley nose. Do you think I have had a re-action to Enbrel or am I just plain exhausted. Many thanks Jeanette

hi Jeanette , hope your feeling better today , its little wonder you are feeling exhausted

the only problem I had on Enbrel was injection site reaction which gave me more pain than the RA did so stopped it after six weeks , hope it works for you

Thanks Colin. Am feeling a lot better today. So hopefully will be able to get my 2nd injection tomorrow. Have had no re-action to my Injection site and when giving myself injection, only slight discomfort for about 4 seconds.
