Subject: Finally getting a little bit of relief.

The 4 X 2 tram adolescent & 300mg neurontin seems to be working. I'm not completely pain free, but I'm more comfortable if that makes any sense.

Only 3 side effects so far are sweating & being high/very sleepy & my appetite is zero.

I know this sounds daft, but because I'm getting some pain relief, I feel weird, as if it's all in my head, even though I am still in pain.

Thanks for being there guys.

I've just read up on the new medication I've been given Neurontin (Gabapentin) and I'm really unsure what it is and why I've been given it.

Has anyone taken this? I'm taking it alongside 2 x 50mg Tramadol, 4 times a day..

Gabapentin provides significant pain relief in about a third of people who take it for fibromyalgia or chronic neuropathic pain;

Hi Rachael, that is a brilliant result for you. My hubby was given Gabapentin when not even Morphine was working for him. He was virtually pain free like you and I was fed up to think they left him for months with nothing touching his pain. It just takes the right Dr Consultant ect to get it right for us all.
Take care xx

I need to make sure that because I'm feeling more comfortable that I don't overdo things though.

Everywhere does still hurt alot, but not as bad.
