Subject: I've asked for a second opinion.

I'm so pleased I have a supportive doctor.

I've been to see her and broke down.

She has asked for a second opinion & prescribed me neuron tin and tram adolescent to try and help me. Luckily she understands how I am feeling and is in agreement that it's frustrating when one thing is said/promised and then taken back.

I'm now worried about work as she's signed me off for 2 month as I can't physically do anything.

Rachael, well done for going to the GP so quickly.
Try not to stress about work, take the time to get a bit better.
You sound so wound up and worried, which we all understand as a lot of us have been through really rough times.
The time off work will give you time to wind down mentally as well as the physical side of it.
If you didn't get sorted you would not handle working anyway, think about that at the end of your two months!

I hope you don't have to wait too long for your appointment.
At least you have a good GP.
Keep posting
Wishing you the all the best. X

Excellent news Rachael I hope the tablets give relief
Don't worry about work, it's like dusting n hoovering, it'll still be there to worry about tomorrow, so spend your time trying to relax and regenerate some energy and try enjoy some time with family
Don't try do all the housework every day, just do the essentials or what you can manage
You can't help what you've got by worrying n stressing as that will make you worse.
List your symptoms etc everyday so when the new appt comes through you can let them know what's been going on
Sending lots of hugs
Xxx

That's good news Rachael. Everyone is right, try not to worry about work, the stress of worry won't help your situation. Well done for getting your appointment so quickly.
