Hi all I have arthritis flare in my knee and have been on naproxen it will be two weeks tomorrow the at my doctors surgery says you can't be on the drug to long as it won't work when needed

I've never taken naproxen but you need to find out how long 'too long' actually is. Doctors say these things without clarifying what they mean. You need to pin them down!

I was on them for a few years. I had a really bad infection in my wrist and they took me off them because Naproxen can make infections linger. All drugs unfortunately have side effects.
