Subject: So so very tired

But sleep is nowhere in sight due to the pain. I can get comfy on my pillow due to my jaw and my wrists, left foot and right knee are all throbbing.
I would love a red hot bath but I can't get out :-(. And only painkillers I can take because of allergies and other medication are paracetamol which don't do a thing.

Sorry for moaning guys, friends and family don't understand why they don't suffer (but their Granny does). Just feeling fed up with myself

hi Rachael , we all been there , some times just watch a dvd at night , dont remember the last time I had a bath , you can get seat that lift you out

you need some good medicaltion pretty quick like Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD) , most common one now is methotrexate , maybe ask your GP for a steriod injection to help for few weeks

Hi Rachael,

Poor you, I can empathize with everything you have said. It is horrible when everything hurts. You really need to speak to someone at your clinic and see what they can suggest to help. Have you had a steroid injection? Sometimes they can help enough to allow you to get a decent sleep and they can make a difference to the pain.

People don't always understand but try not to let that bother you, stressing about things does make the pain worse. Try an find things that help, I find rubbing on some voltarol helps a little or even an ice pack and use a splint to help support your wrist and rest the joints that are sore. Do speak to the hospital or your doctor and get some help.

I hope you feel better soon. x

Hi Rachael, I would like to support Rhona's comment.
A steroid injection may help till you get your specialist appointment.
Good luck with everything, we all know how it is for you, big hug for you. X
