Hi Debbie, I also have a partial denture caused by fainting and breaking four teeth in the process.
I hate it!!!! I was told tooth implants are not always successful for people with Arthritis conditions. So I choose not to go down that path. It is far to costly if the implant doesn't take. Speak to your Dentist they will be honest with you (or should be).

Thanks for your reply,i am only on my 5th day with partial,it is 1 front tooth and 3 on side,it is a flexi denture which is supposed to be more comfortable then the metal clip ones,which I had on side teeth,before I had to have front tooth out and was made a flexi one,i take it out at night and dread having to put it in when I get up,i was in tears this morning,been back to dentist twice to get it shaved where it was rubbing,now it just feels like a vice in my mouth,dentist says I will get used to it,but now I am so depressed,then looking at implant option such a long and expensive option,then not knowing if it will take,sorry to go on so much,just wanted to have a little rant,
