Subject: Re: life has changed so much
Sorry to hear that Ste. I got my 1st bout of arthritis at a similar age, over 20 years ago now. I wish i knew then what i know now. Can you tell us more? About the disease or treatment you're having? I found a good link to a NHS leaflet this morning, unfortunately it's in PDF format - you'll have to download it. But it's got lot's of treatment options in it. http://www.bics.nhs.uk/for-health-professionals/?assetdetesctl7986136=503416 Have a look, go to your GP and don't take no for an answer. It may be Pain you need treating, it may be other issues. There are options out there. Once you get access to them, you will be able to have some life again. My advice would be to book a double appointment with the GP, and take a friend, write down all of your symptoms beforehand to get the most out of it. Most GP's are utter shite (in my experience), it's not their fault, it's an impossible job, and they are not mind readers. As always i'm a random internet idiot, take what i say with a pinch of salt, well done for having the guts to post, Chris
