Subject: Knee Arthroscopy

Hi to everyone who has responded to me in the last few weeks. I am due the surgery on 9th Sept am I am getting a bit despondent. I have heard that the
arthroscopies don't often work and that you are in a lot of pain afterwards. This really worried me as I cannot tolerate codeine type pills due to Ibs even Ibuprofen can sometimes cause the IBS to flare up. Is there anyone who has been through
a washout surgery. Can you tell me your experiences. I am 65 years old and unable to exercise due to pain. Thanks.
