I cldnt bear to eat for 3days. I was in so much pain with the 3 flared swollen joints. The following day my hip pain started to disapear along with the other to joints by day 5 I was bk to normal. I know when I tell my rhummy he wil say it wasnt an arthritis flare as that is what he always tells me he says I cnt possibly flare as im on rituximab. What do you guys think

Hi Kylee, sorry to hear you had a painfull holiday, I'm on humira and at the moment I'm flaring really bad hands ,wrists and knees. I would make clear to the rheumy that he may prescribe your drugs but you live with ra and know when you are flaring, I know I have to do the same with my consultant in a couple of weeks. Hope you get on ok keep in touch take care. Em xx

Hi Kylee, I am also on rituximab and it has helped me quite a bit but on and off I also get flares. Yesterday my hip started getting painful but today it's not too bad. I think in my case when I get stressed it flares up and sometimes when I eat certain things I can get sore too. That's one of the things I really hate about this disease as it can flare up at the most inconvenient times. x
