Subject: sulfasalazine

Hi rhona back on the sulf started back last thur one for three days rhummy nurse said because i have been on them for 4days then off them then back on for 5days that i only need to go on one for three days and on sun started two a day morn and even. just wanted to know have you had any prob with your eyesight mine went blurred phoned my on gp he said stay on them. i have . i had a blood test and my esr was 64 but my crp had come down from 38 to 6. i am at the consultant on the 13th x

Hi Lol, My eyes do get quite dry at times and blurry if they are tired. I have never heard of the sulphasalazine causing it though. I hope you manage to get on alright with it now. That's good that your CRP is down to 6 and when your tablets start working you should get the ESR down too. x
