Subject: Psoratic Arthiritus

Hiya all im new to this forum. Im Gemma im 26yrs old and have been suffering with psoriasis since i was 5 and psoratic arthritis for a couple of years, ive not just long had a baby 8 weeks ago and OMG my arthritis is back really bad i feel like im 90 i cant sleep at night cause of the pain and daily activities are really hard due to the constant pain i hate feeling like this :( its in my fingers, neck , back, hips , knees and toes :( anyone else suffer with this and any tips on how to relieve the pain?

Hi Gemma, firstly congratulations on the little one!!!!
Sorry you are in so much pain. You need to visit your GP and get some help. I bet with a new baby you haven't stopped.
Try hot water bottles although it is so warm. Do you have any pain med or is that not possible just yet.
Try to rest up when the baby is sleeping.
I wish you luck and when you are hurting look at that little bundle of joy and tell yourself it is so worth it.

Hi Gemma. I know how you feel and understand your discomfort and pain. don't know how you manage with a baby too. Were you on any medication before your pregnancy? You do need to see your GP for some help with meds to try and get things under some sort of control again.
