oh Kylee heres me being so scared, I am terrified in case they send for me to have my knees drained and have an injection into them and you have this to contend with. I hope everything goes okay for you and I pray for me that I dont have to have anything done to my knees, I can always refuse I know I did last time.
Your take care

Julie I have my knee drained evey few months I rememember my first time I was terrified not knowing if it would hurt. My rhummy was fab he kept me talking about my daughter I was sweating with atisipation. And I didnt feel . Thing. As soon as my knee swells causing pain I phone them up beggn to drain my knee. Dnt stress it realy doesnt hurt and the instant pain relief is fab. I go in unable to walk so im in a chair and I come out walking pushing the chair.

really, truthfully, not just saying that are you? I just got telephone call from hospital they cant apologise enough for not answering my message to the helpline two weeks ago, I said I felt abandoned and my rheumy nurse has got me in to see dr next tuesday afternoon, but oh my stomach is churning, he might want to sort my knees out. After they did yours did they inject steroid into knee? Did they give anaesthetic? Oh I am sorry I am pestering you and you have got enough on your plate. Other people have told me that it does hurt but only for a while, which doesnt help really. I am dreading next Tuesday already.

Honestly it doesnt hurt. My rhummy used anasetic the first few times but I dnt have it a all now. Yes steriod is put into my joint after its drained and again u cnt feel it. Your knee will feel stiff for a day or so.. Put instantly reliefed of pain. Unfortunatly the steriod injection now only takes 6wks to stop working on me hence why they want to use this other drug. But honestly u wil be fine.if your knee is full of fluid u will feel the presure all ofa sudden disapear, which makes me a little light headed.but n at all painful
