Subject: Riddled with it!!

Hi everyone,
Glad I've found this forum,I believe we can all help each other by sharing experiences etc.
I'm riddled with osteoarthritis [also gout in L foot]from my neck[spondylosis][scholisosis] down to my feet!! I HATE it!!!! One of the worst bits is that my back/hips/knees are so bad I can't stand for long but what adds insult to injury is that it is now in my coccyx,so sitting is no easy matter either!! I have bought a ring to sit on and a lovely Thai silk shoulder bag to carry it in! and must take it everywhere,I need a SOFT chair with arms and find most restaurants etc only have the hard upright chairs,no arms etc! so we have to do a recky on a place before being able to go anywhere to eat etc. I have LOADS more that I could bore you all with lol,but will gladly chat with anyone who fancies a natter.I'm very upbeat,as is my hubbie who also has many similar symptoms,so I'm not going to depress anyone!! Bye for now

Hi Sandy

Sorry to hear you're riddled with it! I've been just diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. I'm not riddled yet just in neck, shoulder, wrist, both hands and feet. Mustn't grumble though!

Hi Sandy and welcome to the forum.
I also have OA and have it all over like yourself. I have had a couple of surgeries so I know exactly how bad it can be.
The seats every where are uncomfortable for me. The worst place being at my Gp's practice hard plastic.
I have constant pain but try hard not to let it stop me doing anything. I am not ready for the old rocking yet LOL.
Well take care and hope you join in all the chats we have on the forum they are all a great bunch. I have found so much support on here when I have bad days. I have also learned a lot.

Take Care!!!!

Hi Samantha,
Nice to meet you so to speak, sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis, but yes,as you say 'we mustn't grumble',i'm in the habit now of saying 'fine' when people ask how I am,don't want to be one of those people that people are scared to ask how I am and just reply with loads of doom and gloom!!
Take Care x
