Subject: Letter from rheumy
Well got a letter from rheumy this morning saying what they did when I went for my appointment what makes me laugh is that he has put that my joints are fine then he put about my knee about the friction syndrome saying swollen and tender and that my crp is slightly raised will review in 6 months . Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't crp slightly raised mean my inflammatory markers are up ? Does that mean my arthritis might be flared up to ?:(

Hi Laura, funnily enough,I got something similar myself. An ultrasound scan result that said I had synovial fluid in my joints and various other things, that one joint was swollen but no evidence of inflammatory arthropathy, Took it to my GP who said she was confused by the letter as well and told me to ignore it!

hi Laura , what levels are your CRP , normal is is 0-10 but under 6 is ideal , your'e right about inflammortory markers but sometimes how you feel dont show up on there blood test , the review in six months is pretty standard & with some you see the rheumy nurse between appointments
